Dug A Hole...

Ok, I have recently started seeing a guy. He is friends (he used to play rugby with) with someone whom, I er, only slept with. He didnt want a relationship and I was so into him that I ignored this fact and ended up getting quite hurt. However, despite this we have a fairly genuine friendship after he decided that he didnt want this anymore. I know this is going to sound awful, but I told him a few fibs and am quite concerned thst the guy |I am now seeing will find out. It wasnt particularly dramatic, and they arent close friends, but have a few friendly wall posts on each others facebok pages.

Now im not saying that Id ask for him not to remain in contact with him; but I suppose for my own selfish reasons, thats what I'd like. It wasnt a particularly nice time and really got me down; as i'm not the type to be sexually promiscuos, as awful as that sounds.

Is there a way around this? What would you do in this situation. Is it worth asking the guy to pretnd I dont really know him that well, and to keep schtum basically? Gosh this sounds immature

Nothing dramatic, just that I didn't want a relationship, and completely came across as if I was some kind of tart who actually enjoyed what we were doing.
