Look alive and well... help!

Hello

I always look tired. I tend to eat well, lots of fruit, I exevise, I lift weights but I look tired and warn out. I have black marks under my eyes, I used to have really nice blue eyes but they're are gone. My skin is rubbish too.

I'm forever comparing my self with other guys (I'm a lad). Especially pretty boys... so are there any on this forum... give me some tips... I want my eyes back... everyone used to compliment them... not anymore! I want nice glowing skin... lol... I just want to look good. Help! Thanks

Yes get around 9 hours sleep on average, I've also been to the docs and had blood tests and it came out clear.

Are there any foods that genuinally help?

Try putting that bio oil crap on them.

Eating well is not just about eating lots of fruit. The main dietary defficiency in the western diet is minerals. It's not just a case of taking supplements either! You're better off with things like spirulina (though I can pretty much guarantee you wont like the taste at first!). Most people could do with more water as well. It's much too big a subject to cover here - if you pm me a reminder I'll get some sources of information for you.

it could be stress, 9 hours a day isnt much use if your sleep is broken or generally light or even nightmares/night terrors can cause it (there is a difference)

Worrying about it wont help either, yoda probably had the best idea thus far in that try putting some skin cleansing goop on your face, you can buy stuff to get rid of the bags/dark circles under your eyes. which is what the pretty boys do.

Might have hit the nail on the head here. I do have lots of nightmares, I had two last night of what I can remember. I tend to remember a dream every night and they're extremely negative. They usually are about my failures of the last 12 months, such as fialing A Levels, dferring my entry at university, being in a abusive relationship - these definitley contribute to my sleep pattern.
I tend to wake up at least once every night as well, therefore my sleep pattern is broken.

Looks like I'm going to take a trip to my local Superdrug store and see what they have. Then ask my mum about possible oil stuff you were talking about, she'll know about something. Hopefully should see a difference in a few weeks. But I know it's the nightmares causing the most grief. We can't help what we dream so how am I susposed to tackle this?

I'm going start umping on the bike as well to get some cardio exercise (I'm not fat) but it helps.

Do carrots really help with your eyes?

Thanks

I think putting lavender oil on your pillow in some form can help with the sleeping. I think you need to try and sort that out first

I think the answer is your sleep troubles and stress worries.

I think you need to sort out your worries whether it be on your own or possibly going to a counsuler (they are not that bad you know!) and it will help you, honest.

As girl 89 says, lavender on your pillow can help sleep or a relaxing bath before bed (invest in radox bubble bath, one to help you sleep. )

Hope that you look/feel better soon.

If you want to you could always try sleeping tablets or something homopathic. You could go to somewhere like holland & Barrat. they are normally really helpful in their and can show you something that might help you
