not using a ball point pen in multiple choice watch

    I didn't use a ballpoint pen on my physics multiple choice, I used a ink pen.

    Will i get penalised? :confused:

    Lol, don't worry! It's just that the computer finds it easier to read ball-point pen marks. If the computer can't do it, then it just means someone will have to mark your's manually. I wouldn't worry.

    this is what vaguely confuses me - surely a felt tip or ink pen is easier to read? you know in biro when it gets streaky and if you make a blob it doesnt go completly black...i duno i just thought a blob from felt tip would be easier to read...

    You ever looked carefully at a biro... you know how its slightly shiny?
    Its that reflectiveness which is what the computer uses to read. (educated guess)

    And to be honest how hard is it to use a biro not a felt tip or whatever?

    Umm... heres a hint DON'T THINK... people write these exams and instructions, they know what they are doing- you DON'T! If a felt tip was easier then dontcha think they'd tell you to use one?
