    too late!!! The exam is on Mon and i can't get used to a caluculator in that time!!!

    Next time, draw a table of points so you can plot graph. You cant go wrong that way. Thats what i'll be doing from now on.

    These equations should be split up into two parts, x>0 and x<0. x>0 is easy its just y = x(x-5), but the problem arises when x<0. Here |x| = -x because |x| = sqrt(x^2) which is always greater then 0, but x is less than 0. So the thing to do when x<0 is to replace |x| with -x but leave x as x so the equation becomes y = -x(x-5).
