    can anyone help me on this question pliz?
    Ok well if u look carefully, u can c that the bottom in 30cm long..now..

    This 30cm=27cosx+BQ

    Angles on a straight line =180
    So x+90 (a rectangle)+QBA=180
    So QBA=90-x
    Therefore, BQ=18cos(90-x)

    Now cos(90-x)=sin(x)

    So BQ=18sinx

    Substituting into original gives

    30=27cosx+18sinx

    divide all by 3 to give

    10=9cosx+6sinx
