I am currently in Year 12 and I want to retake my French GCSE as my writing unit got a low grade last year.
I know that I have to retake both reading and listening as well as writing, but not speaking as I can carry forward the marks from last year. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
However I'm unclear of how to prepare for the writing as since I'm a private candidate this year, the task was not given to me by a French teacher, and the OCR website merely states that it must be two passages on two topic areas.
Does anyone know how to independently retake a French writing controlled assessment? Where could I find a task?

Thank you
