Help with my college app

I am having problems with understanding what 'Study Programme' means on my college. The question is 'Why do you wish to follow this study programme' I can't seem to answer this question as I don't know what it means. Also there is another question 'What are your career aims' I want to do this course BTEC Level IT Software Development Extended Diploma. The question is asking in relation to my full career. At the moment I have written' My career aim is to work for a leading software development company specialising' I know this is not enough add I want to add some stuff like developing games but I need something to make me stand out as I don't think this is enough. Thank you very much

BTEC Level 3 IT Software Development Extended Diploma. So I say because I'm more interested in coding than hardware. But what else?

Why do you want to do it?

I could write a massive essay for you and it still wouldn't be right because ti's not your words.

I want to do it because it is different from the other courses as they focus on other things and this course focus solely on programming
