Any examples of the maths used?

thx, but I think this is a bit too mathematical for me! Can you explain all of the steps involved in reaching that answer?

well at UCL the first Year is common to all which take maths with

here are the 2011 papers
(I have currently 3 students studying at UCL and I must remember to update my Library of Papers before they graduate)

Here they are the first Years

Have a look at the table of contents above. All the maths you'll need for an undergrad theoretical physics course is there.

If you google "Cambridge Part II Astrophyiscs" and find the past papers, you'll quickly realise that Astrophysics is even more mathematical than a more general Theoretical Physics course

Well, that's not even all the maths you think you need. Check out more here. To be honest, one of the beauties of physics/theoretical physics lies in the exact mathematical solutions.

Nothing, he is the paper where exams are printed on.
