Worried about tight chest

For the past couple of days, I've been experiencing chest pains. It feels as though something is being pulled inside, it feels central and around boob height. I'm not having any problems breathing but it's very uncomfortable. No other related symptoms as far as I can remember - last night my stomach area was hurting and I was experiencing a bubbling feeling but I don't see how that could be related.

Any advice or possible explanations would be appreciated. :smile:

it could be a number of things, could be a pulled muscle, could be indegestion. however if you're worried about it, speak to your doctor :smile:

I'm going to try and make an appointment with my doctor but the reception isn't back from lunch until 2 - I've read a few things online that have worried me so I think it's def best to see the doc. Also, I'm meant to be going to Berlin tomorrow for 5 days, let's hope I'm ok!

I'd go Dr, sayin tht though I get sharp chest pains n sometimes my heart gets really fast for like a few seconds n then returns to normal beats - its odd.

I'd go Dr hun to be on safe side

Central chest tightness and stomach pain/bubbling suggests indigestion to me...
The bubbling is the over-production of acid in your stomach, which may be irritating your oesophagus and causing the central pain higher up.

I'm not a doctor so that's just an educated guess but unless it gets worse or persists, I wouldn't worry too much.

Of course try and go to the doctors if it does get worse or if you're still worried. Is your heart racing or are you getting palpitations?

I'm fine! Have been told it is probably to do with something I have eaten and not to worry. My heart and breathing are normal so I am relieved and can now enjoy Berlin!

I've had something similar since about year eight. Have always been terrified to go to the doctors for fear they'll tell me I'm going to die :redface:

I have normal blood pressure and colesterol tho, so hopefully that won't be the case :s-smilie:
