There are never more post-grads at any halls of residence! Schafer House is fun and probably the nicest self catered accomodation, and it's 5 minutes from uni.
However, you never really know what your gonna get with UCL accomodation but if you want Schafter you shouldn't specify en-suite but you should distance to uni.

Yeah i'm a schafer girl! I really like it, with the exception of my slightly crazy American room mates who like to puke a lot!

Yeah it's all single rooms, I originally preferred en-suite but with Schafer there's two big bathrooms for a 5 person flat, and 1/2 for a 3 or 4 person. I've never had to wait for a shower. It's also 5 minutes from uni and quiet enough that you can sleep but it's sociable as well. Campbell house is good but the only people I know living there are in shared accom. so that might be quite common whereas Schafer is single rooms all the way.

just wondering are there many postgrads at this residence? im hopefully going to be a ucl undergrad this september and just wanted to know whether undergrads are in the minority or indeed the majority in this residence!

Just expect to be woken up several times a week if some prat carries on the tradition of setting off the fire alarm bells there. 2 years ago, there were vigilantes roaming the corridors trying to stop these idots...and apparently, someone died as the fire brigade were called out to a prank there instead of a real fire...fortunately, I don't think this is going on anymore...

You'd be surprized, a couple months ago some drunk rugby boys thought it would be a great idea to spray deoderant into the fire alarm and see what happened...
needless to say we were all out there in our PJ's at 3 o'clock in the morning waiting for fire engines to spray out a non-existent fire.
