hey, I'm wondering if the way I'm currently studying for my modern studies prelim/exam is the best way. So far I have been memorising knowledge/statistics along with some analysis and I'm planning to then put this information into essay plans when I'm in the prelim. However, are you guys/do you think it's best to prepare full essay plans before going into the exam? or are you studying in a different way?

I did higher history last year and the way I revise for modern studies is pretty similar.

I usually write an essay or make an essay plan and then write flash cards divided into the different paragraphs. I'll learn the essay from the flashcards. For some essays I also liked to make mind maps because it really helps to split it up. Once I've remembered it, I'll then practice writing essays or making short essay plans from what I already know.
