Why don't we just answer the guy, it would make his life a lot easier, by the looks of it he has exams in 5 days, come on guys, MOTIVATION & SUPPORT!!

well technically you are allowed to use it, even though your teachers might tell you otherwise, you can use the data booklet for paper 1

also, yes it is EXACTLY the same databooklet you use in class, but of course you can not take in your own booklet, your inviligator will supply you with a new one before the exam begins hehe so no writing extra notes on the sides

Yes, thank you simarik. You're being very nice. (No sarcasm at all)

I'm just too busy taking the mickey out of the fact that rebel has taken over my job of direct people off to places.

I love this place.

Hehe exactly as I predicted

Just wanted to let you know that I wasn't being rude or anything, just wanted to help the poor guy out, you remember how it felt 5 days before the final exams, I don't even remember if I was alive because of all the stress, I don't remember eating in the 2 week exam period.....which is odd because my one true love is food

mehh, I guess you can technically do what you want to do on this forum, you are literally the IB goddess to many people hehe

I know, I didn't mean you were being rude. in fact I said you were being very nice and helpful. :hugs: I guess we can cut people a bit of slack these days cant we. since most people have gone off to study and traffic is a bit slow around here lately anyway.

(Deus banned himself, Lc rarely comes in, Ramsha comes in even less often, aimee's aiming to not come in, dangle...well, he's hardly ever here anyway)

Yayyyy!! I got a hug :proud: :hugs:

Everyone's disappeared, this place is going to be pretty dull for the next month, oh well gives me time to study for exams rather than procastinate on TSR...though, I haven't really been online that often since un started, I have exams again in 2 weeks, just when you think life is gran with the IB over, they come to hit you on the head again at uni

How is sydney going by the way?
I just had my mid-session exams this week. I got a lot of use out of Deus' IB economics notes. whicn reminds me I have to rep him for that. but really I hate multiple choice exams...grr...

you have exams in 2 weeks? my next exams are semester exams in june but loads of coursework deadlines coming up. fun. yeah really I should take advantage of the down time ot do something actually productive...like looking for a job now that I FINALLY got my work permit

@ like502: no hard feelings eh? sorry if I sounded rude or mean..its just that my revision isn't coming along as well as I want it to..which means that i shouldn't be here but thats another story

@ simarik: you're right..we should offer each other motivation and support

@ HMS: you have indeed "corrupted" me..lol.. What can i say you've rubbed off on me. and sorry for taking over your job by the way

I didn't have mid-semester exams, but I've got my end of semester exams in 2 weeks because my course has a short period at uni as we have to go out to clinical placements for a month at various hospitals whilst everyone else has exams, so lucky us, we have exams a lot earlier than everyone else

I hate mcq as well, they all seem right to me...hehe something productive....a job would be a great idea, hopefully u can find one, I don't know about Sydney, but Melbourne is horrible when it comes to finding a job, hmmm thinking abt working, maybe I should get time off work for my exams.

Rebel 4292, I hope everything will end up going well for you, i understand your tension, just keep it up for one month and then it's 3 months of freedom, yayyy!!!!!
@rebel: I usually redirect people in the same direct abrupt manner so if people take hard feelings to that, I'd probably had scared off quite a few newbies. really...we love new people here, but this is exactly the reason why I made that FAQ. So that people don't go off track and chat in threads that have gone redundant.

@like502: best of luck for your exams!!

@simarik: apparently it's supposed to be easy to find a job here. anyway I'm sure even in desperation there's jobs on campus as well but the pay there sucks. figures. :p:

we can use data booklet while solving paper1 physics??
we cant definetely use the calculator
but im not sure about data booklet
does anyone know?

and another question
during the test we are using exactly the same databooklet the one we used during the class?? (i mean the one including formulas for option as well)

Can you use the data booklet in paper 1 (the multiple choice)? Yes

Can you use a calculator in that paper? No

Do you get to use the data-booklet in class? No. You get given a fresh one.

Dont know if its already been answered but there's a quick answer for you.
