Hey,

Don't be nervous!! It will be fine! They will ask you a lot of questions to do with why you want to be a primary school teacher, what would do that your teachers may not of done, how would you make your teaching different?

Hope this helps!!
They may want to know about any experience you have had with young children. Have you helped children in your neighbouring school with reading / on sports day etc? Have you got younger siblings? How will you react if a child kicks off? ie are you mature enough not to lose your cool? Are you a good organiser? Very important. ( Have you got examples ready to show this?)

Have you got musical skills? Do you play the piano, the recorder, trumpet?

Have you got artistic skills. Can you draw, make models, displays?

Have you got experience organising or taking part in a play?

What have you already read about the stages of child development? How genuine is your intererst in children?

And in addition to all this they will be looking for soft skills. Have you got the manner, character necessary to deal with young children?

The answers to all these things will help them gauge your commitment to this career.
