ooohhh, i remember that, it was very nice- i tried to take a picture with our digital camera on the 30 something floor of the hotel, but the window was in the way. so i opened the window, and had to hold my hand (with the camera) out of it, and then take the pic. i was so scared of dropping the camera, so i was just standing there pondering what to do. eventually i took the pic, but the quality wasn't worth the hassle

yeah, we went inside...did you go to the walkway linking the towers?- that was a very nice view
also, i really liked the bit outside (towards the back, i think) with all water and grass, and places where you could sit- very beautiful area.
have you been to singapore? i've got a few pics from there which were really nice. unfortunately, they're on my laptop, so i'll post them on herer when i can be bothered to get them...

if you live in kl, then you'll know the crown princess hotel??? that's where we stayed. don't know how it compares to other ones in malaysia, but it's nothing like what i've ever been to before, just absolutely amazing!!
and yeah, i agree, singapore is nicer- but it obviously does have it's bad areas, e.g. when we travelled from malaysia to singapore by train, the outskirts of he latter were just like anything you may find in the uk...

oh, i juts remembered a wonderful moment from kl that i'll never forget.
we were standing in one part of the city, i think it was little india. i turn to my right and i see the beautiful night skyline, with the twin towers being the prominent image. i then turn to my left and see something resembling a slum area (maybe exaggerating)...just the complete opposite...i couldn't help burst out laughing

hmm..how long ago did u come here?
i think u'd generally find malaysian/south east asian hotels being much bigger, and hence grander, than the ones in uk coz land is so cheap! the really posh ones are shangri-la and ritz...but the crown princess is by no means one notch below!
yeah...that goes for the outskirts of malaysia too! there are some really nasty areas of kl too...that goes for most cities i guess

ummm, well first time, we went to singapore for about 3/4 nights. second time round we came to malaysia as well, and stayed for roughly the same amount of time, and then went to singapore for about 2 nights.
i think we pretty much did everything we wanted to do in singapore first time round, but i think there's probably still some left in malaysia....any recommendations?
i also remember the cabbie telling us about the land being really cheap. i also remember he was such a show off- something to do with green baret, "i did over 200 parachute jumps" etc, etc...

    hahahhaa!!
there's lots to do here! have u been to genting? its a HUGE theme park with a huge casino on top of a hill.
umm....the beaches along the east coast are excellent! pangkor is a good place to go (esp around this time)....redang and tioman as well...
if you're into historical sites and things then malacca is nice...(but i personally dont find that kinda stuff interesting)
dyou like malaysian food? coz penang is the ultimate place for malaysian food eaters!
if u wanna do more cheap shopping then come back the kl
