Hi I'm stuck on Q9iv(pic), I'm so confused as to the mark scheme saying Multiply MM^k? I thought it'd be the other way around
Or I'm just generally confused as to what to do for the question other than proving the basis case.

Yeah, and I've done the basis case of probe by induction, it's the inductive step in stuck on
To be exact I'm confused on why I premultiply (MM^k) and not the other way around
Both gives the same answer whoops thank you
