not doing a level geography fieldwork (Unit 2 AQA) ???

Hi, I don't want to go on my geography field trip, because of the pure facts that I know pretty much no one as I started a sixth form that is part of the school (there is around 10-15 external students), and the trip is for 5 days!!!! why would i miss that much sf for a trip? However, my unit 2 exam is based around the field work so i am conflicted :/ Can i still get an A without doing fieldwork?
