Best way to tell a girl you like her

Basically I've been trying to meet up with this girl I really like from another school via organising certain social activities but my attempts failed almost every time. This has been going on for about 3 months now (pathetic, I know, but I really really like her) and it's quite evident that she is not really interested but I'm finding it impossible to give up on her yet. The only option I have left is to call her and tell her how I feel about her. Should I go for the romantic approach or should I keep it simple? I would have obviously prefered to tell her in person and I was planning on doing that in a romantic way (a rose and a magic trick were involved).

Don't go for any romantic stuff. Just talk to her normally (If you have her phone number ask to meet up somewhere?) and then carry on from there.

Just try to arrange to go for a coffee or something; or alternatively, if you have a large mixed-sex group, like that of mine, then invite her out with all of you guys and then she will not feel so pressurised and is more likely to come out!!

She either fancies you or she doesn't - so if it's "quite evident that she's not really interested" then nothings going to happen, I suspect the reason that you want to tell her how you feel is so that it can be out in the open, she can reject you and you can move on and forget about it.
