    Well, looks like nobody has replies.

    You knot that R = \rho \frac{\ell}{A} and that \rho_i = 6.7 \rho_s

    So, you know that \displaystyle R= \rho_i \frac{\ell}{A_i} = \rho_s \frac{\ell}{A_s} - use the above relationship to cancel the resitivity out (and cancel other things out as well, like length) and then re-arrange for A_s

    You know that A_s = \pi r^2 = \pi \left(\frac{d}{2}\right)^2
