    What are the ideal grades?
Do they want you to have A*s in the subjects you are taking for A-Level?
Not sure of the exact requirement
I suggest you phone them on Monday
    All the best

Hey guys I've applied there too but if I don't get in which sixth do you think is better Alexander park or fortismere

    Posted from TSR Mobile
I know very little about both schools, so I did some very brief research, Fortismere seems to be better academically, but that is all I can say.
    Good luck.

    yh I did!!
I have an interview for me to discuss my subjects and for me to accept my application
don't know what to expect tho
but theyre very grades focused so I think it will be fine even if its not great.
the email was really weirdly phrased - it said I got an offer but they still wanted to interview me?!?!

I got an offer too and have to go in tomorrow to talk to the head of 6th form. Don't worry I don't think it's an interview at all I think they just want to meet us and discuss why we want to talk the subjects we're talking, plus they've already offered us a place I don't think they can take it off us. 😂 Someone else in my school got an offer as well and she said her meeting is at 3:30 and so is mine so I think it will be a group thing interview maybe? Idk... I'm a bit worried about not achieving my predicted grades though cos on the email it said "subject to your GCSE results and meeting your predicted grades". Do you think they'll still let me in if didn't get my predicted grade in one subject or something? X

i really liked the school! a lot of people on the student room say that the students are really stuck up and mean but I didn't see any of that! and the 'interview' was literally just them asking you what your hobbies were... kinda wish I hadn't got so worried about it when it wasn't even an interview! but overall I reeeeeally liked it!

Can I ask you a few questions if you don't mind? It's just that I didn't think I would be moving and I don't know much about the school.

The science teachers are mostly good, they're all very friendly and nice and not that strict, I don't know about German, however my friends do German and they like the teachers. However you shouldn't rely only on the teachers there bc you won't be spoonfed info like in a lot of schools and you have to do a lot of extracurricular research like go to lectures etc especially for BCM but it won't be that bad. BCM is a common choice and so there will be a lot of people you can talk to and do extracurricular stuff with. Most of my friends are doing BCM and they're very nice people, ok some people in the year group aren't the most friendly but you can pretty much tell who they are bc their groups are very cliquey. Many groups as pretty much open to having new friends so i'm sure you won't have a problem there Yeah i'm gonna be in the 6th form
