I want to study business management at Brunel, I'm studying a level psychology, business studies and BTEC law and my predicted grades are: D*BBHowever the entry requirement is DAA. Do you think it is worth giving a shot or would it be a "waste" of a choice? The remaining 4 choices i have made are within/below my predicted grades.

What you are offering is the rough equivalent of A*BB, so it greatly depends on Brunel's policy towards A* grades and taking 'grades equivalent to' AAB. You can try asking them but they probably will not answer you in time to get your application in, or they wont give you a straight answer.

So I would suggest that you apply anyway - make this your one 'risky' choice and go for 4 other more realistic choices. They may make you an offer but remember this would probably include AA A levels, and that's want they would want in August so can you actually achieve that? You are close enough to the required grades to risk an application - or you could think about not applying tis year at all, working your butt off for 2 A grades and applying next year with known grades.

Thank you so much for your reply, I have put it down as one of my choices, so I'm hoping for the best. I do believe that I'm capable of achieving D*AB however my teacher did not want to change my predicted grade so I will just have to wait and see. If I do not get any satisfactory offers due to my low predicted grades, Iwill definitely consider waiting a year
