I recently got my rejection from Oxford. I have a fairly complicated educational background (lived in France, done both the french equivalent and IGCSEs and have some AS and A Levels) but I'm now predicted a 41/42 in the IB (without bonus points). However, I applied for deferred entrance and I think that could have affected my application!

Lots of people are posting about knowing why they didn't get in (which part of their application was weak) and I was wondering how they found this out? Do I just email the admissions office of my college or...?

I would just try for Cams instead but seeing as I'm from there I don't want to that - it's Oxford or Canada!

    Thanks

You can ask for feedback by emailing the College who sent you the outcome letter. Some guidance is available here:

In general, candidates seeking deferred entry may have to meet a slightly higher standard since the selectors are mortgaging a place from next year's cohort.
