if you're doing double science, do they add up the marks and give you a mark out of 100 and that is your 25 percent ? This is aqa btw

What exam board?
You get a mark out of the maximum amount available, and that is then converted to UMS which makes up 25% of your overall UMS/grade. -

Core - 1 ISA, 25% of your core grade.
Additional - 1 ISA, 25% of your core grade.
You get two separate GCSEs.
