    Hi

I'm doing AQA A Level Bio. I'm fine with understanding the content, it's just the 'How Science Works' part which RUINS ME. I know I'm going to get a D in my ISAs because they're evill so I'm aiming for 90% in all my exams ( doing All my exams for Bio this year). I could get a B I reckon, but so many students in my year missed their A because of the ISA, even though they got As in all their exams.
Therefore, I really need to aim for A*s to get the highest UMS I possibly can for A Level Bio.

If anyone has any advice please tell me! Currently I'm going through the textbook, Khan academy videos, the specification and other resource I have found. I'm also doing all the questions I can find. Is there anyone who was in my position, and after doing revision they improved? I just need to know it's possible, I have an offer from the university of my dreams for A*AA and I have the most horrid feeling I'll get A*A*B ( the B in biology, just a few UMS under an A) because of the ISA.

    Thank you so much!

Unit 4, Unit 1 and bits and peices of Unit 2 ( covered last year). Just started unit 5, with protein synthesis.

Luckily, A2 is so linked to AS it keeps leading me to revise AS. It's hard, but hopefully I'll be able to look at the subject with a synoptic perspective.

Hey mate, I had the exact same problem as you with this course. I hated the HSW questions in aqa biology. I got a low B at AS but then averaged an A overall by retaking AS modules and doing well in A2. The biggest difference this year for me was doing ALL the HSW and application questions in the book and doing the past papers over and over again. I done the past papers for unit 1,2,4 and 5 atleast twice and make sure you make notes on the pastpapers. Hope that helps. Good luck
