Firstly I know this is the wrong forum. I wanted to post this under just 'life and style' but I'm on the app and it wouldn't let me and I have no wifi at home so cannot use my laptop to post! So sorry if a mod u see this I would prefer it in a more appropriate forum.

Last Saturday I had two moles removed from my back. One was pretty big about 6mm diameter. The other was quite small but next to it. They were both removed by eliptical excursion (cut out in eye shape) then pulled together with dissolvable stiches under the skin. The location is lower back basically on the spine.

I've not had this before so didn't know what to expect but it's 6 days later now and it feels sore a bit itchy sometimes hurting too. I also keep on getting back ache at the top of my back I think because my movement is restricted. Together on my back I think only about 2 or 3 cm is the size of the wound/scar but it's quite small so I didn't really expect to still feel it.

Just want to know if any of this is normal??

Edit. I mean I wanted to post this just under "health" but the app wouldn't allow me to.

I know stitches do tend to be sore or irritated a lot, not sure about how long for. It isn't red or swolen is it? That could be a sign of infection.

I'd suggest calling 111 or heading to your local pharmacy to ask them to take a look. Sounds to me like it is probably okay if it's only a little bit, but no harm in being sure cos you certinally don't want something little going wrong and leaving you with a scar or something.
