    Bull**** game.

United were dreadful. We were dominant but lacked the cutting edge.

I agree with Lucio and Zef, if we had a proper striker on, we would have won the game by half time.

Typical that United's first ****ing shot on target is a lucky ass goal.
We were robbed but at the same time it's unfair to criticise United.
They were absolutely dreadful but they kept on going and most of all, they were extremely efficient.
It's a similar story to last season when they won 3-0; we had an exceptional number of chances and they only had a few, yet they scored 3 times and we didn't manage it at all:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30366041

As you can see in the report we had 19 (9) shots to their 11 (6), yet we lost 3-0.
Had to laugh at "Manchester United easily beat Liverpool at Old Trafford." though. Classic McNulty...

A proper striker would've helped but the long term problem is that we don't have any scoring midfielders. As lovely as some of Coutinho's goals are for instance, his shots to goals ratio is abysmal. We don't have players like Ramsay or KDB who can make the right run and most importantly finish off the chance.
Henderson does pretty much everything we want from him except putting the ball in the net. He can pass, his positioning is excellent and his energy is outstanding. But give him a clear shot on goal and I wouldn't bet on him scoring.

You either need a lethal striker (or two) or a few midfielders who can get goals. With Sturridge injured and Benteke poor in our system, we have neither. This isn't a problem we can sort until the summer so we just have to deal with it.
If we can get a quality GK and ST in the summer (along with the CB we've more or less agreed a deal with), we'll be set.

You call shooting blanks "efficient"? They had one shot on target.

The only thing we're missing in these sorts of games, is a prolific striker. We could have and should have scored at least 2 goals.

Can you imagine if Suarez was still here?!

I've got every right to criticise United, especially when Louis van Git is calling them a title winning side.

What was lucky about the goal
Most of all, the fact that it was your only shot on target.... also the fact that, albeit we don't have the striker we need, we should have been 2 up.

What I mean is that it was their only proper chance all game. I'm not saying they were good in any other aspect, only that they took the single chance that they got. That's efficiency.

2 goals? We should've won that match at least 3-0/3-1.
United are miles away from being title winners and to be honest I'm not sure they'll even beat Spurs to 4th.
They won today, fair enough, but their performance was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful.

A really, really poor game. It didn't deserve any goals, whereas Arsenal's meeting with Stoke certainly did.

There was a distinct lack of animosity - between the players, the fans, or the managers. It was a shame, but without Gerrard, I can see the fixture going the same way as Arsenal and United has, and it will become diluted and lack intensity.

That's not the goal itself being lucky then, but anyway... It's not luck that we can finish and you can't. Scoring goals is a pretty crucial part of football and we had one of the best in PL history playing while you decided not to play a striker even after spending £30m on one.

    This, essentially.

You can set a team up how you want, and be as good as you want in the middle third, but it's both penalty boxes where it matters most. United have a match-winner in Rooney (four goals in four games now) and a very solid defensive unit, neither of which we can boast.
