I can only do 6.5kg 20 reps but pretty much everyone I know can do 9 or 10kg with 20 reps. How can I improve?

I really hope this isn't serious.

On the off chance it is, forget 20 reps do what ever weight where you can only do 8 with to build muscle. And forget about just training biceps and look up some proper exersice programs

8-12 reps for hypertrophy. I can find a source or three if you'd like. Also, if you can't get to weights at some point, do chin-ups -> weighted chin-ups (put lots of water bottles in a bag and do them) -> one arm chin-ups.

if you can get 20 reps on that weight , it's not big enough. Go heavy and low reps for dem gains.

Go 8-12 reps and you will be fine. Depends on your height and weight tbh. 6.5kg isn't a huge amount but if you aren't massive then don't be ashamed, just work on it.
