Yeah I still remember my mum never being happy with the fact but my dad was all "Stop being silly, it's just a game!" Ahh I just remembered when I completed Tekken 2, unlocked all the characters and everything, then my brother deletes my save file to free up blocks so he could save some game that took up 5 blocks, I went *******
I played MK vs DC, was alright. Never played Tekken vs Street Fighter tbh, any good?
    SAME .
NOOOOO unlocking all the characters/costumes etc took so much time! :emo:. Man, PS1 memory cards had about 1MB storage, and then the PS2 came out and I got excited with the 16MB storage lmao.
Oh nice nice, and I personally liked it more.

Thank you all for your responses, the cynical side of me expected some daft responses but it's nice to see games like STALKER, Mirrors Edge and Heavy Rain have inspired folk do some things, among others.

I don't know if it counts as such, but playing games like The Last of Us and Telltale's TWD have not necessarily influenced me in this particular way but have warmed me to having kids one day. Always was skeptical but the care for a child is incredibly powerful.

Funny how these random things can alter your views on such important issues.

Video games have never influenced my views or actions, because video games aren't created for that purpose. Video games are created with the sole purpose of bringing enjoyment and happiness to people, and that's what games do for me.

Max Payne got me an A* for a story I wrote in English a few days after playing it.

A rip-off of Metal Gear Solid starring Ask Jeeves got me an A.

LA Noire has made me respect the Police a lot more than I did before.
I now know how hard it is for them to solve crimes and how rewarding it is when you find the criminal.
LA Noire has made me respect the Police force even more now.

I have a suspicious feeling Deus Ex got quite a few folks in to liking robotics and biotechnology.

    Best of luck sir :yy:
