What is the based on ranking or experience, the best universities in U.K. and U.S. offering Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence or Computer Science with Software Engineering. Also between those to courses, which is better for becoming a game programmer? Thanks

Oxbridge and Imperial are by far the best in the UK. All three of them are incredibly prestigious.

I would strongly urge you to take a look at Edinburgh University's Informatics Department if you are wanting something related to artificial intelligence. The informatics department is ranked No.1 in Europe for research so you know you will be taught by people at the cutting edge of the technology.

Compared to the likes of Oxbridge and ICL, in terms of employment opportunities, international outlook, how would Edinburgh fair with such universities, currently i'm looking at working in the US after uni.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. If you were to gain a degree from Oxbridge you would probably have better employment opportunities and international outlook than ANY other university of the U.K. It's because of the prestige which comes with it. But, if you put in the work and gain relevant experience at your time in Edinburgh, I would say you will probably have an advantage over them. Is an Oxbridge graduate immediately smarter, academically, than other graduates coming from the likes of Edinburgh's informatics department, no, I don't think so. So to answer your question, it's all about relativity, are you going to be hindered by going to Edinburgh? Definitely not, recent graduates have been employed by sky-scanner, Google, JP Morgan, Morgan and Stanley and so on and so forth. That's my opinion in the matter. Any more questions just quote us! 😁
