Hello! Starting a new job as a nurse theatre practitioner NHS Can anyone tell me how I will actually be trained up as a theatre practitioner \ how my learning will be structured?? nervous!

It will vary depending on individual trusts, but with your role you'll spend a period of time supernumerary working with experienced practitioners learning aspects of the role, be that scrub or recovery, along with this you'll probably have a load of clinical competencies to get signed off on. With preceptorship, trusts do it differently, but it's usually some sort of workbook along with study sessions to support your transition into becoming a registered nurse.
