language help

I did my AS Level in a last year, got D, 5 marks off a C not terrible but not great by all i want to know what i should do
I had two options:-

1) Keep my grades and try pull them up when doing A2.
2) Re-sit the AS

I think it all depends on what grade you want at the end of the year and what grade youre working at now
If your content with a C, you could attmot option 1) and try and get a high B this year to balance it out
Or you could retakr last years papers this june. It should be easier to get a higher mark because the paper should be easier for you and it will mean its not as hard to get a higher overall grade as you dont need to rely on your A2 papers to pull up your mark
