i just dont get it why people get annoyed when i speak the lebanese accent..

they go like... mmmmm your mum is from lebanon right?

and im like noooooo im from bahrain and then w go into a fight :biggrin:

no, the worst part is like when i talk to some ATM( algerian-tunisian-marocain) in french... and he is like

- alors, tu es d'où ( so, where are you from)
- Bahrein...
- quoi? (what?)
- BAHREIN
- ahhhhh RENNNES ( its somwhere in france btw)
- no no BAHREIN..
- je te comprends pas.. c'est où ça ( i dont understand u, whre is that)
-mmmmm à coté de qatar( near qatar)
- mmm je connais pas ( i dont get it)
- mmmm dubai tu vois ( dubai, you get it)
- aaaaaaaaaahhhh golfe (the gulf)
- oui c'est ça... ( yeah thats it)

then after this huge explination, the dude comes back and says

- alors tu es Alergienne? tunisienne? Marocainne? ( so you are algerian/tuni/maroc)
- QUOI! JE SUIS BAHREINOISE(WHAT IM BAHRAINI MAN)
- non serieux là..( no im serious where r u from)
- BAHREIN MAN..
- mais comment sa s fai k tu parles français( then how come u speak french girl?)

and then i freak... honestly.. im like wtf...
why do they think they are the only "chosen ones to speak french or what!!...

Lol...true...it's all good. But I'm guessing that Lebanese accent of yours you picked up from either school or t.v or both.

Seeing as you're Bahraini...you should be representing the Bahraini lahja...but I suppose Bahraini and the rest of the Gulf accents are pretty much the same.
