i want to pick these subjects to keep my options open but was wondering about the workload and if it would overwhelm me and also if these subjects go together well or not. Currently in Y11
would really appreciate it if someone with experience or knowledge on this would answer.

I picked the first three and English Literature and it honestly wasn't too bad. As long as you keep on top of your work you won't struggle. A levels are meant to be challenging so it obviously won't be a walk in the park, but it will certainly be manageable. You've got a good combination!

ASK your teachers, they are the best source of advice as the syllabus is a lot different and I think they can give you the best advice on how you will cope with the A Level courses. Effectively these linear A Level courses are there to see how students will cope with them (so we're basically the guinea pigs) and who knows how everyone will cope but yeah good luck.
