I think I need braces but...
I've asked and requested to have braces as I think my teeths are not straight. But the dentist thinks i do not need braces, and does not refer me to NHS. What should I do?

They won't usually refer you if it's a minor cosmetic issue. You have to go private, & pay for the treatment yourself.
you can have my horse teeth and get braces and i'll gladly have your 'slightly not straight' teeth 
Ahhh, that old chestnut! I asked for braces at 18..told teeth are fine. Now @ almost 30, told I need braces but it'll be £3k!!...
