Do you MULTIPLY or DIVIDE when you see the word 'in' ?!!

Like for instance,

3.65 g of HCl in 100 cm3 of solution, what is the concentration?

Not sheriff srs. It depends on the information you're given, and then you need to put that information in to the formula you need.

Edit: usually it will be a division though

mol dm-3

What does the -3 mean?

x-1 = 1/x

So mol dm-3 = mol / dm3
