maybe ask him if you could ring him, then ring him and ask him out. Though from my view, I honestly wouldn't mind being asked out over msn

nothing weird about it at all, if the best way is to ask over msn then i'm sure that will be fine . And besides, it would only be for a drink

IMO it's better to do it in person as you can gauge body language.
I don't think it's the best idea, do it face to face, or at least call him.
What crap. Ask him face-to-face.

Why not tell him on msn you need to speak to him at college and organise meeting him?
It's best you do it face-to-face...

Is bumping into him at college really that unlikely? You could try accidentally being in the same place at the same time... (what some would refer to as stalking :dontknow:)

If you aren't going to see him at college then at least make him be the one to ask you out on MSN. Ask him if hes doing anything tonight, keep telling him you're bored, he'll soon get the idea

Organising to see him over MSN so you can organise to see him, but not over MSN?

Unless you're planning on proposing to the guy (in which case, you have bigger problems), just ask if he fancies a coffee on MSN...

Why would you ask/organise to meet over msn, to then ask to meet, why not just over msn?

i see nuttin' wrong, it was only tonight a girl from uni arranged to go somewhere with me, over msn. big deal?

You seem to be suggesting that she should ask to meet him over MSN, and then ask him 'out' face to face. Given that all she's going to be saying when they do meet face to face is 'Do you fancy a drink sometime', doesn't it strike you as a little melodramatic?
You made it sound more melodramatic than I initially intended.
I assumed because the OP clearly liked the guy she'd prefer to gage his reaction when asking him out - slightly different than just asking a friend out for coffee.

(Though I must apologise if I'm wrong and the OP doesn't like the guy in this way).
