Booked my room for degree earlier. I'm in Newarke Point Block E on the first floor! I might not end up in this one though as if I choose to do foundation i'll get put in New Wharf Hall so I guess it just depends!
At least there is one person going to Newarke Point xD

I received a conditional offer for architecture but I am currently asking myself if it's worth studying at DMU ... I am waiting for replies from Uni of Nottingham and Sheffield. I am not from the UK and everyone says that if you can't study at a Russell group uni, you shouldn't study in England :/ Why did you chose DMU?
Hey there! I got a conditional offer for both DMU and Sheffield and I have to admit both universities have brilliant facilities and are particularly great with their architecture courses. For me I chose DMU as a firm choice because the atmosphere is very friendly and as I have said the facilities are amazing, also considering they have a new building for the art & design courses the facilities will even be better!!! They also have a variety of contacts for future employment so you are sure to get a job after the course (hopefully) Hmmm...also the overall grade they want is not as high as the Russell group unis.

To be honest with you, it does not really matter if you go to a Russell group or not because different Universities specialise on different courses. For example, Cambridge uni is well known for their Science, Law and Medicine whilst, UCL which is not part of the Russell group is well known for Architecture..Anyways it is your decision if you want to really pursue Architecture in England then go for it!

These websites may help you decide..
