    I'm starting Uni in September but i'm looking to sort out my accommodation ASAP!

    What would you all recommend for first year and why?

    Depends what you want out of university. Halls are a great place from which to meet lots of people, especially if you like clubbing. You also don't have to organise bills. They can be noisy however. If you want peace and quiet, a student house could be a better option, however you have an extra year of dealing with the hassle of bills & you aren't surrounded by lots of freshers to hang out with- you'd have to make more of an effort on your course or in societies to get to know lots of people.
