Kraftwerk have never been one for acoustic instruments. The drums are usually sequenced or played on pads and the rest of it used to be played on analogue synthesisers or various electronic instruments that they built themselves. How exactly is it a horrible song though? I find the atmosphere quite relaxing and the recurring melody is catchy enough that Coldplay used it for their song Talk.
First Kraftwerk's albums still had instruments:

Fair point, although I was mostly trying to say that just because music is electronic doesn't mean it has "no instruments".

Him and Justin Bieber are the cancers of popular music, completely talentless tools who are only famous because 14 year old girls rub their clits to them.
You forgot 1D or the Jenas Brothers in this category.

I dont have an active dislike for 1D since they arent douchebags like Justin Bieber or Chris Brown, but yeah they are ****ty as well but I guess every generation needs a ****ty boyband. and the Jonas Brothers are no longer together.

Indie rock mainly. Wish my taste was more broad but just can't really get into anything else.

Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Courteeners, Oasis, The Strokes etc

IDM (intelligent dance music) but i think thats a rather pretentious name for a genre so i prefer to call it "experimental glitch" or something

I like prog metal as well, mostly jazz influenced
Not all idm is glitch tho.

    what prog you listen to?

Anything really! I quite like indie and acoustic music. But I am pretty open to anything. Currently listening to Ingrid Michaelson. What is your favourite song?
I dont have a specific favourite but Arctic Monkeys are the bomb.

True, maybe I should say "experimental sound synthesis" is more fitting

And stuff like cynic, karnivool, rx bandits i'd say are prog but use some other genres like ska, the contortionist (the new albums not their more deathcore style), tool are good as well but i dont listen to them too much, meshuggah \m/ for them br00tal downtuned dj3nts, fall of troy (are they even prog? not sure), animals are leaders, cloudkicker has some good prog albums that i like, CHON, Scale the summit, Plini

yeah not so much the old bands like rush and king crimson although i still like some of their songs

I listen to most things from cheesy 90's euro pop to thrash metal.

But favourite genres are Avant-garde metal and deathgrind.
