trapped nerve?

ok this doesn't seem like the right place to post this :/ but it's a health issue I suppose!
I was straightening my hair this morning, and on the way to school after, I noticed my thumb was *slightly* numb. Not completley, but it feels like it's tingling. It's really annoying to type with as it aches quite a bit. Recently it's been 'locking'- it wants to click but it never does, which is painful and I have to click it myself. It kind of feels like that now, but I can't seem to click it to where it should be. When I put my thumb flat on a desk, it tingles. A friend suggested it was a trapped nerve, what do you all think? thanks!

Sounds quite possible. Try massaging it to see if it makes it better

I get traped nerves quite often just under my breasts and it hurts like hell!!!! The doctor sugested putting ibrobufen cream onto it as that sould help and also rubbing

Go see your doctor, he will probably refer you to a Chiropractor/Physio.

It happened to me, and im currently seeing a chiropractor...really helps (for me anyway).

pleas don't use chiropracter and physio in the same sentence. Its insulting to physios world over.

it must be insulting to be known as a shadow of what a Chiropractor can do.

honestly all this urban myth from Physios and doctors about Chiros needs to stop. most of them have a bad view of chiros because they have been told to dislike them. people need to open their eyes.
