Sometimes I think a lot of those who voted Corbyn in the leadership election were Tories and possibly anarchists.

The Tories knew electing Corbyn would ruin the Labour Party and make it unelectable and that Corbyn would eradicate the Blairite centrists putting labour back into its 1980s mess.

The Tories got what they wanted.
If only this was the case. It's mostly normal people in all honesty. Very naive normal people

Tell you what pal; how about you walk into a few pubs, knock on a hundred random doors (anywhere in the country you like), cafes, town centres.........anywhere with people............and tell them about how giving up the Falklands is a good idea, that terrorism is caused by us, that the IRA were right and that the best thing for this country is to live by 1970s Labour economics. Then come on here and tell us all that these things have widespread support among the public and that an entity espousing these things will overturn a massive Conservative majority.

Honestly, you people need to grasp the concept that the electorate isn't the same thing as your Facebook feed, the Guardian's editorial team and your uni halls of residence. Get over your delusions and join us in the real world.
I really do feel for your deluded self. Corbyn has the support of large amounts of the electorate. McDonnell even proved that Corbyn's branch of politics is what will attract UKIP voters back to Labour, not to mention Green voters. That is a nice 5 million or so I see on the horizon. How you are going to be sobbing come 2020.

Corbyn will get a majority of 20-75, stop moaning and either back him or run to the Tories

Didn't Corbyn win a majority even with the pre-existing membership?

I know a few Tories signed up as £3 voters but the numbers can't have altered the final result.
Yes but within the members that were members before the last election it has since come to light.

Jeremy has a real chance of winning a large majority in 2020. People like redferry know this (if they really are campaigners) but reject socialist and left wing policies in favour of their right wing policies, so they pretend it is not true.
WHAT?! Seriously he doesn't have a chance in hell (barring some sort of global crisis). The man has more chance of dying before the election than getting into power (he's pretty old and a cyclist).

Have you ever canvassed in a target seat?! In fact have you ever spoken to a member of the general public?!!

I voted for a socialist and left winger for a socialist and left wing party while you were campaigning for pseudo-Tories and a right wing Labour party, that means I have done more for the Labour party than you ever have. Plus I am campaigner for Momentum which is the real voice of Labour.

He has a very high chance of winning. If you have actually talked to people, you will know he is very popular

Please point me to the proof that UKIP voters are being won over by Corbyn branch of politics?!

What planet does this man come from that he'd go on about ISIS "strong points"? What strong points does he and the Corbynites claim they have? Really, I'd like to know

It's also entirely consistent with his history of sucking up to fascist dictators that he would side with the Argentine military fascist junta over British democracy.

To the extent anybody can be called the native population of the Falklands, it is the people who live there now. There was no aborigine population, and Argentina (which became a nation-state after the Falklands was populated by British) has no serious claim to it.

The Falkland Islanders voted something like 99% to 1% to stay associated with the UK, and yet Corbyn would override their self-determination and hand them over to a banana republic
Yes, but what did you expect? Honest Politics?!

Corbin is more manipulative, more deceitful and more callous than any other politician I know of, and that includes his "secret" lover Dianne Abbot!

Could you seriously expect any better from a left-wing extremist who failed his A-Levels and has spent the last 33 years rotting in the backbenches of parliament?

I honestly don't know why anyone would support him, he is a very dangerous man and I know for a fact that if he became PM then I would be forced to flee Britain as both a political and economic refugee. Although I probably wouldn't be able to because he might be quick to introduce capital controls and strict border regulation to prevent British people fleeing the country from his communist persecution.

It is such a shame Liz Kendall lost the labour leadership contest. Not only was she the only sane candidate, but she could have lead labour to victory by a sandstorm, possibly even greater than Tony Blair did in 1997. In fact, what pains me more is how Chuka was pushed out of the contest, I do not buy that he chose to step down because he feared the public attention. Anyone as smart as him would have known to expect it and so I think he was pressured out by intimidation, possibly by the rising left-wing extremist elite within the labour party, who were clearly angry by the last 18 years of relative reason within labour party policy.

The Tory party has done more for normal working people in Britain than the labour party ever has.

    Here's a few examples:

    Gave working class the vote
    First to reform Factories
Promote growth of small working class businesses
    Ended industrial oppression
Gave working people the ability to own their own homes
    Won us WW2
Fixed Britain after the 1970s extreme left wing labour government turning it from a backwater into an economic powerhouse
Fixing Britain after post Blair era Labour government
    Built Britain's motorways and roads
    Reduced the tyranny of unions

Well done for supporting an economically illiterate communist who may or may not understand that what he proposes will destroy Britain, economically, socially, democratically and diplomatically. Quite frankly, if he got into power he would cause far more terror and distress than his friends at ISIS.

Now, please, explain to me why you support him?

Of course not - I voted for Liz

I also don't have a problem with the right of the party or your politics. You're just more right wing than me - especially with your conspiracy theories!
