    yeah I asked my teacher when applying to different 6th forms and he said it's the same thing

    A-Level Computing = old modular syllabus
    A-Level Computer Science = new linear syllabus

    i believe the specification content is pretty much the same. there might be some very minor changes.

    I do Computer Science. Unless you have a good teacher... you're screwed. Lmao. But The specification has similar content to the old computing but there are some COMPLETELY new sections. Computer Science differs from computing and is more "pure" in that its solely computer science whereas computing takes into account business, economics and financial aspects. Theyre really focusing this computational thinking now. So strictly speaking theyre not the same thing...Theyre similar but not the same. They changed it enough to change the name mate..thats all you need to know xD
