Basically my car is quite old, ten years old. I got a fm radio and a cd player. I have tried the FM Transmitter Radio Adapter but as my car automatically search radio I can't tune in a radio station that is static. Could anyone please suggest a way I can listen to my ipod in my car?

If it doesn't have an aux port on the front, It probably has one at the back that you can use if you run a cable through the passenger footwell.

The best though is to throw it away and get a new one with both an aux port and usb socket in the front. Less fiddly too.

Rip the stereo out and replace it. £50 will get you something new that has an Aux port so you can plug straight in.
