Opting out of the industrial year
Hi,
I'm doing a degree in Biochemistry with Industrial Experience. I'm in my first year now and I was thinking of opting out of the industrial year. Do you guys know when would be the deadline for opting out ? And do you think it is a bad idea to do this ?

Email your department and ask them.
Getting a year of experience is very beneficial and will make you more employable upon graduation. Don't see why you wouldn't want to do it?

I'm dropping out of my year in industry too! i just want to get uni out the way and there is so many graduate places out there! the deadline isn't till the end of your next year, I'm just not telling uni till they ask me about it
