Should people who went to public school actually be allowed to become politicians? They were born rich, what do they actually know about the way the world works?

Hint: there's only one correct answer and that's no

Probably been mentioned already, and probably feeding the troll here.

But what if someone has a scholarship and attends a Public school?

Presumably you have no issue with Maggie Thatcher given she didn't attend a public school?

    I understood perfectly.

I was asking a supplementary question about whether or not you have a problem with Maggie Thatcher, given that she was Prime Minister, but not posh. Unless being a Conservative PM automatically qualifies as posh.

That's a nonsensical argument. How do you know what she spoke like before she was a politician?

You could basically turn anything about someone into an indicator they are posh.

They generally make far better MP's because they are more like to study humanities/liberal arts at uni and come from a tradition of rarified academic learning; its a part of their culture/tradition and its in their blood. Their parents are likely to have studied PPE or something similar at Oxford or similar and come from a fairly highbrow tradition. Someone from Bolton would only really cut it in the far left of the labour party or in the BNP; their interests are far more base and everyday. They just dont have the refinement or the awareness to understand Englands historical and cultural heritage on a deeper level.

Are you still at this sweetie? You really do have an embarrassing lack of knowledge seemingly borne out of a combination of abject stupidity and a perverse thrill in being uninformed.

What a horrible nasty judgmental discriminatory person you are to even say that. You obviously are not fit for public office as all you can see is your own blinkered world.

do you understand what FULL communism means? FULL communism is stateless - its why the term communist government is completely oxymoronic
I believe it is you who lacks understanding, for China under Chairman Mao was truly communist, for he and everyone in his party was equal to every other citerzen.
