Are mocks important?

Are mocks important as i failed
Hey,

Mocks don't reflect what you'll get at the end of the year because:
1) you haven't completed the whole syllabus
2) this might have been your first real good attempt at an exam paper
3) you probably didn't spend as much time revising as you could do for the real one

Last year in my mock I got CCCU and came out with AABB in the real thing.

Mocks act as an eye opener, and make you realise how little/much you may know now that you're a few months away from the real thing and will hopefully motivate you to get the best grade that you can.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine if you put your head down and work your butt off!

Mocks don't matter, teachers play them up massively but they mean nothing

Exactly, but Teachers do use mocks to work out who needs more support. If you do bad you're mostly likely going to be in some form of intervention as well.
I failed too btw so you not alone.
