So I'm currently in year 12 but I started the year doing 3 a levels, I'm currently failing in one and was wondering what would that do with the chances of me getting into a good uni? Will I have to stay behind another year to do the complete a level in another subject or can I get into a good uni with 2 a levels and 2 as's?

I don't think any 'good' universities that will let you in with 2 A levels and 2 AS levels. Depends on entry requirements which you'll have to check.
There are those who require a certain amount of UCAS points for degrees, but they tend to be those which aren't 'Russell Group' or what you would consider 'good'.
Even if you're failing in one currently, you can just spend a lot of work on that subject. E.G, I wasn't doing well in Biology AS from my December mocks (got a D) and I ended up getting an A in it last August.

I know Manchester accepts 2 a levels and 2 as levels, I'm kinda in a similar boat 'cause I'm in y12 and take 3 a levels but I'm failing economics because I hate it SO much. We'll just see what happens I guess
