F = ma
F = m(v-u) / t
t = F / m(v-u)
... ?????
Well from part a, you should have calculated 11ms^-2, as F=ma can be rearranged to F/m=a, meaning 110/10=11. Therefore, using suvat, time can be calculated using: t= √(2s/a), meaning t= √(2*8/11)= 1.21 seconds (to 3sf)
