Cheapest place to buy football shirts?

Hi,

I am quite interested in getting the current Manchester United home shirt, or the current England away shirt.

However, as a lowly student, I don't want to spend that much!!

Where would be the cheapest place to get these things? Would it be better to get them online or in a shop?

depends where you live, the same shop has different prices, i live in Norwich and the jjb shop and most other sports shops has 50%+ sales on all the time, i bought my Utd shirt for £29 with name on the back and englands home shirt for £17 with rooney on back, but thats because the sales are on all the time..i know its alot more expensive in other places

oh and buying online would cost alot more

Yeah, I get that a lot...!!
I don't blame you either. No, truth is that my Dad was born and raised in Manchester, so I guess I was just kind of born into it!
At least it's more reason than a lot of people out there...!!

Lol I'm also close to Romford, and I'm a die-hard united fan too. That said I don't have any family that's ever originated from Manchester or anywhere close to for that matter, yet I've always supported United from the Cantona days.

Oh yeah, and I've braved a 5 hour drive to Old Trafford.. 5 times.. so yeah :smile:

Utd fans are the most widespread fans in the entire world (worldwide speaking).

I know of 2 close mates who are Utd fans, one is from oxford, the other is from london.

...and on a similar note, I was gonna gets me next season's Bolton shirt. You can pre-order it for £40 with a free name printing voucher worth a tenner. Is that a good price or should I wait for it to be released and buy it somewhere else? Problem is, its quite hard to find a bolton shirt in any shops.

If you want this season's United shirt cheap, wait a couple of months and it'll be dirt cheap cos the new one will be out then anyway!

He is right. I got a replica of the Champions League final shirt for Barcelona with Ronaldihno written on the back for 10 pounds a bargain site!!!!

If you plan to go on holiday anytime soon, theres some proper cheap ones abroad. I've bought plenty from places like Germany, Brazil, Turkey etc at a very reasonable price.

If you wait till the end of the season then this seasons shirt should be considerably reduced, since everyone will be waiting for the new one.

If your a lowly student it might be best to be one season behind in terms of shirts if you know what I mean :rolleyes:
