I am in my first year of A Levels and have been looking at doing either Economics, Philosophy or a combination of both at uni, but a lot of the universities that do this offer a year abroad as part of the course to study at a university in another country, I was wondering if anyone has done/is doing this course and is it worth doing?

It is something that a lot of people massively enjoy. It is a chance to meet new people, experience a different culture and different educational practices and generally have a good time. If none of this interests you then it is unlikely to be worth it for you as it will not directly improve your employability etc.
