Which one are you having?

I had to pay for some of my vaccinations, like yellow fever. I think the justification is that if you can afford to go somewhere where you need such injections then you must be able to afford to have them. And so it should be. The NHS could spend that money on something essential, for someone who isn't having it through choice.

hepatitis a and typhoid. I just think that vaccinations should be provided at a uniform cost across different practices rather than differing greatly. Yellow Fever isn't usually free anyway.

Hep A is never free, in my experience. Unless you are in Wales. Hep C on the other hand is. I got typhoid for free though.

Hep a is usually free.

in that case it must be a regional thing. I paid for mine and they told me that it's never free, not even to students :frown:

I got hyp b&c and typhoid free but would have had to pay for others if I was going at a different time in the year.

Hmmm doctors, they shoudl either all offer it free or all charge for it.

Reply 8

yeh it's not really fair to charge some people and not others.
